Just a quick tip, those mini paint rollers can be detached from the handle, which makes a great one for a 10" or 12" file
Think at the risk of implailing my hand I will stick to regular file handles at a quid each
i need some handles for some files i have without handles, do you think they would work on hammers too
hickory is for smoking manNot really suitable for a hammer as the tang inserts into the handle. Hickory is still my go-to for hammers.
Me too they're great for the job.Me,i use an old golfball

been doing that for donkeys works for me,plus the balls are free from the driving rangenot exactly ergonomically friendly on your palm and comfortable to hold
Yeah, file handles are made perfectly for the job at hand though and cost about £1There's always one...
Under normal diy use and considering safe using practices, mini paint roller handles make great file handles
Now that's an idea.look like stair splindles
