Anyone tried the Optrel Weldcap? If so what did you think?
It is getting colder now and clothes get thicker and air space below a welding helmet is less due to the extra layers and I get the mask fogging up when I breath and not breathing is not the best of ideas.
I looked at the weldcap and it looks like the lens sits closer to the eyes and there is a cutout for the nose and I am thinking it may be better for not fogging up so much.
The drawbacks I see are it has to be taken off rather than tilted up.
Not sure how filthy it will get with it being some sort of cloth material and thus not easily wiped, maybe even soak up moisture?
I wear specs, would it be too close to the eyes for that?
Not keen on caps but if all else was good I could probably get used to it.
