I found this image online of an offset flypress bending jig. It looks to me like it's designed to allow bending to happen at the front of the press rather than under the throat.
I assume the blue right angle parts attached to the ram are a brace to prevent the part in the ram from flexing, but that would mean they've drilled & tapped the ram face in the higher up position.
Do you think that's what they've done? Has anyone else made this arrangement? Seems unusual to make alterations to the ram.
