Rusting Sierra

Hi All
This is my first post on the forum so be gentle.
I have started restoring a Ford Sierra XR4i with a friend. Being an old Ford there is plenty of rust!
I have taught myself to weld from info off the web, (mainly this site! Many thanks) and lots of practice on scrap steel.
I have a SIP Handymig welder which is seems ok but wondered if a new welder would make welding easier, more reliable and more of a pleasure.
I have been looking on various sites and the feedback seems to be that Clarke welders are pretty good for a hobby welder like me.
I have a maximum budget of £250.00 allowed by the finance director (misses) so what would you recommend?
If I don't spend all the £250 I get some brownie points!
Your input would be very welcome.
Many thanks
Dave
