hi I've been a member for a while and use this site as a study guide, though at times I seem to confuse myself more.
I have a couple classic mini projects that are in progress, one needs a lot of welding the other very little, but it's a 71 clubman so I want any work on that one to be be spot on. To that end I need to upgrade my mig, I was given a sip130 but I'm not a good enough welder to overcome its short comings.
I am looking to upgrade and have been looking at the r techs. All my welding is on thin stuff we have a big Miller that can handle anything heavier.
I'm open to advice but it's the lower end amp rating that I am more interested in.
I'm going to stick a wanted ad up as for the amount of welding I do, I can't justify a new machine.
Thanks, and any advice/recommendations gratefully received.
Cheers
