Yours would likely fit in the tool post and he could then have live tooling
Hey I am not knocking the small lathes, I was just replying to @Richard. commentYep but there is quite a number of us with a small lathe but it better than having no lathe at all
and I am sure the ML10 would rather be live tooling than getting spun round in a chuckYou would be able to fit my poxy little thing in the chuck and spin it round and round like a rag doll.
It’s a mutual thing mate. I’ll rip hoods tig welding apart he gives me and my little Myford a bashingYep but there is quite a number of us with a small lathe but it better than having no lathe at all
It’s a Delmac. What make is the lathe? I recognise the emblem but for the life of me I can't recall what it is.
Ah but if used as live tooling then she would be using a tool in her chuck and making some lovely milled slots/hexing etc etc and feel that she is a vital and integral part of a real MillTurn and not just a wee latheIt’s a mutual thing mate. @Hood my lathe would be happier been spun at 500 rpm than driven in to the work piece. She has just told me.
