Hi
i'm new and know nothing about welding! i am restoring an old 80s car and require a welder to do some minor body repairs and maybe some heavier MOT fail stuff later on (if it fails next year!). i'll obviously be practicing off the car before i go to the car with the welder!!
Budget is very tight, so i'm looking for a cheap welder but it does need to do what i need it to. I'm hoping to spend £200 max on the initial equipment, but obviously even cheaper would be better. i can always upgrade to a better welder as time goes by but for now, i just need to do body panel work really.
Screwfix have this Non-Gas MIG for £80, but sounds like a bit of a weakling?

I quite like the look of this one who sells a gas one (Trade Weldmate T90P Gas) for £185:

does anyone have any advice? are any of the welders above up to the jobs i need? anyone know of any better deals?
Screwfix also have an ARC welder in at just over £30 and one for £50. Not sure if this is going to be up to the challenge? it seems to cheap to be any good, but the reviews dont sound bad:
