They are perfect for that sort of use and some of them weld very nicely indeed. It would be to much of a gamble to buy a Chinese tig if you are making a living out of it. I love Chinese Tigs because of the price. But I'm only a hobbyist. There's a reason why expensive Tigs are expensive.
A bank loan/business loan is a monthly payment. It's easy to manage because it comes out your bank on the date you want it too. Can't Fault the eastwood other than it can become troublesome when it gets too longer after long periods of welding, especially with Alloy.
I have all my bits to build a water cooler, its just finding the time.
Currently im happy to say im in Zero Debt with the business (Accountant will say otherwise) But everything in the premises is not on credit nor any loans or credit cards in place. So Ideally i would like to keep it that way for now until work comes fast and thick so i can predict the months ahead. I know having a new tig on finance will put me in debt...But a monthly payment is easier for me to manage in that respect.
I've used brads HT and it's a little treasure.I've just picked up a Lorch HT200 to weld aluminium. I'm also welding exhaust, intake and exhaust manifolds, brackets - all thin wall stuff. It was a hard decision as I've been attached to my Lincoln V160T which is now for sale (with pedal). Looking forward to trying the Lorch as it has pulse, AC and much newer technologically than the Lincoln.
