We see it all the time around hear, in high wind when they are trying to keep the dartford bridge open they often close every other lane as lorries struggle to hold lane position but people still use them ignoring the red x."If a driver uses the hard shoulder on a managed motorway when it isn’t open, or drives in a lane with a red ‘X’ above it, the cameras will automatically trigger a penalty, which includes a £100 fine and three points on your driving licence."
Love the one about motorways.
Where we live we have the 50 miles of A40 part single and part dual carriageway before we reach the M4. To get to anywhere we want to go to we drive along the M4 until the Brynglass Tunnels and then check with SWMBO to remind me who we are visiting.
wot are they going to do if u have an electric car in a layby on phonebe careful of the mobile phone one
theres a reference that if you use your mobile phone at a layby parked up with engine on you could end up with a fine for doing actually whats right by your standared
this i another statement of safe reference
personally if your in a layby or pulled up with engine on your safe to do so but it apears its going too pc about it
If you are parked up, safely, and your engine is off, you are free to use your mobile while sat in the driver’s seat.

Think that's called a piggy bank.I think Brynglass Funnels would be a better description, every time I've had a late job in Cardiff recently they've been closed and they set the speed to 30 about 3 miles before. Went through this afternoon, variable speed at 50 all the way and the road wasn't busy
I wonder how that works with drink driving. If they catch you with keys on you, you are classed as been in charge.
Yeah that's one that always gets the arguments going, according to the police if you are in the car with the keys you can be judged as in control of the vehicle, even if asleep on the back seat.I wonder how that works with drink driving.
