I have an old 2225 Solar that I just love and want to fix. I bought it used 15yrs ago and it was old then. I've been using it at my bodyshop trouble free, every day for 15yrs. I believe my fan stopped turning due to an obstruction, not quite sure. Anyways the bridge rectifiers in the main control board blew and I replaced them twice, each time they blew almost instantly. I want to buy a new control board for about 250.00 but I don't want to get it all connected and blow the rectifiers again. Theres a transformer supplying its power (24v) I need to check its voltage before installing the new board but it seems like theres a short somewhere, is there anything else I should be checking before I get it all hooked up and turn the power on? Could something else be burnt and drawing power through the control board
