Have a good read to make sure you know how to set the wire tension correctly.
Get some 2mm or 3mm to practice on so you don't keep blowing through.
If in doubt about anything then ask, don't just bash ahead.
ignore A setting use for 2-3mm thickness switch too max either 1 or 2, turning knob setting 4/5 used as a guide weld with that or use gasless but gas and wire is better as not as hot as gasless wire
As said above, ignore wire speed settings in the manual and play with it to get it spot on, gentle touches on the knob, if the recommended setting is say, 5, then mine is usually about 2 ish, yours may be slightly different.
be a proppa bloke and bin the manual-proppa blokes don't need no manuals (however, I just got my bending and rolling machine working correctly after 16years as I had it back to front but I didn't cave in and read the manual as I binned that years ago, looked it up on you tube)
this forums moderated mate-you'll be gettin a warnin if you don't watch it
If you can't afford a gas set up to start with, don't get downhearted with first results if you have to use fluxcore, and get as much torch time as you can, I learnt something today using MIG.
Good workhorse the Clarkes, enjoy the learning journey.
