Yea...same with steel. I sometimes cheat and weld a piece of hack saw blade to the end of the old tool blades as the new blades are pricy :-)
I think the trick it to use a slow speed to keep the heat downGRP is a bitch though on cutting gear unless for GRP. Jig saw blades drill bits etc don't last long
the blades are quite cheap now if u buy a fair few and good quality . look up saxton bladed on eblag ,. wont get any cheaper or betterYea...same with steel. I sometimes cheat and weld a piece of hack saw blade to the end of the old tool blades as the new blades are pricy :-)

When is the launch party?
Who will be invited to smash a bottle?
I still can't believe how much you have got done so soon
wow, what a huge project!....what are you going to finish the inside of the cabin with?......this is awesome
JP
Looking good
I would be a happy man if I had that project to work on, love renovating boats, they can certainly get the short fuse ignited though when things go wrong, a coffee and cig in a quiet corner was the answer, I don't have boats or cigs anymore... miss the fun
Looks good, bit late now but you can get spray foam kits...
Not a good idea in the cold though, ideal on a warm muggy day in summer, it goes off rapid!
If it were me I'd want a darker more Royal Blue colour. I'm sure whatever you use will be applied beautifully smooth. I just looked back to the first post with photos of a somewhat sad looking old boat - did you get rid of that one
