Hi all,
I've been lurking on here for a while, picking up some fantastic tips.
Now I'm looking for some advise.
I run a workshop doing automotive welding, at the moment its mainly panel repair and MOT welding, MIG welding. But I am getting more work for stainless exhaust work, and sump repairs (very low VW's).
Anyway, I came across the below welder in a Unipart brochure, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with multi purpose welders.
Would something like this be worth investing in? I've been keen to teach my self to TIG for a while, but I never seem to have the money for a decent TIG. And this seem reasonable. Especially as it portable. My current MIG175 weighs a tonne! Also, would DC TIG be any good for ali welding?
I'm concerned that this will be a 'jack of all . . master of none!' welder.
Thanks for the advise in advance.
