Sorry about the lack of updates...been very busy with work plus fixing my house. Brick laying isn't as easy as it looks!
Not much progress on the MR2...spent the last 2 days cleaning the garage. The rear end went back together ok...bumper is a bit battered though.
Next job is to give her a wash and get the MOT sorted out ready for some nice weather.
I'm thinking about a respray...been looking around and prices seem to be around 1,500-2,000 for a basic refresh in the same colour. Toying with the idea of having a go myself with an HVLP system...I'm not too bothered about it being perfect...just needs to be presentable. Will see how she cleans up after a wash and a wax then I'll decide.
The boot alignment on the drivers side is a little off...it was like that before the accident too. I spent hours trying to fix it. Eventually I found something on line which suggests that it's the boot opener which is causing the issue (has a spring type hinge to keep the boot open). Might look at replacing with gas struts I think.
