I've seen this being mentioned a few times now and sounds like its useful stuff and certainly something which might be suitable for a few projects - the latest log splitter included.
At the moment I usually end up priming with red oxide then putting a cheap gloss on top - or hammerite - which I don't have a lot of faith in it lasting all that long.
I had a quick google and come across quite a few variations but also two distinct types - a primer version or a build / finish version. This might be a stupid question but will either do both jobs or is it a case of having to prime it first or put a top coat on after the mio?. I enjoy the making and preparation side of it but I hate actually painting with a passion - and would love to find a quick slap it on paint (with a brush - I've not got the patience, interest or good enough kit for spraying really) that will stop the rust for a long time to come - I'm not really worried about what it looks like most of the time so long as it works.
