Hi All...
May I Share a little project of late.. I have plenty of angle grinders to hand but always wanted a small adaptable chop saw for my outside work station..
Well, this is what I came up with.. Safe, quick, adaptable
and accurate..
In Action below...
I like ideas hence if I can make it I’d rather go that way..
The Vice and saw are two separate parts which interlock together as one, however, I can easily remove the saw cradle
(4 little Allen keyed bolts) and it then makes a great little sheet cutter as I’ve made the base smooth with a profile to the leading edge and on the right hand side there’s a square guide which runs along my saw fence..
Easily adjusted for squareness etc both ways too ... with a depth stop/adj too..
Two small bolts fitted where the grinders handle options would normally be remove these and it returns to its original state in seconds, should I ever need too use it elsewhere... at present, it’s a perminant fixture on my bench..
It’s only really for chopping rounds and flats etc quickly and accurately whilst easily readily to hand..
I hope you like.. all in all a nice little Tig project I’ve enjoyed building..
