Is it just me or are the prices of mills crazy at the minute, I'm after a little vertical mill for at home (bridgeport or similar ) and they seem to be fetching mental money, either that or i'm getting tighter!

due to people buying 415v inverters to run them . 3 phase motors are fetching dear prices now as well where once u could pick up any size for scrap price or cheaperThey do seem to have had a price hike lately
OK I should have said little compared to what i'm used to! They really do feel tiny when you've been taking huge cuts with a Cincinnati or similarbrigies arent little
I must admit this market has changed in the last few years. Late 90's and early 00's you could get them for peanuts.
I knew a guy back then who bought them up and then sold them to Asian countries but in the end the machines dried up here at cheap prices so he packed doing it in.
Its not still available is it?The name 'Bridgeport' seems to massively increase the price of an old machine, I'm looking for a biggish mill but I have limited headroom in my workshop, if you're not limited by space there are some bargains to be had - I had to turn down an FNK25 for £300
I'm not sure, are you interested? Its not still available is it?
Very, are they a vertical mill? Similar size to bridgeport or bigger?I'm not sure, are you interested?
