Hi All, I have picked up this welder and it is not outputting full welding power, when I say that I can just burn a 2mm stick rod on max settings, it was working okay a few days ago and I dont believe I have done anything which would have upset that, the auto idle is not operating and has been frigged to manual, I initially thought and hoped it was just missing the solenoid but after closer inspection the board looks to be needing at least one component replaced. The 115v outputs are giving 115v, when on power mode, cant remember if the one while welding is giving 115v, (dont think it is) someone has been in about this machine before as there is a switch which takes a wire from the fine setting connecting to the wire I think should just be connected direct, why this was done I dont know, there is also the remains of a 230v output which has the back blown out of it, no wires are present which would have been connected there,
I have been reading a few posted hoping to find a similar issue but have not managed, all the posts I found have no power,
I have downloaded the manual, if only I have a trouble shooting one as my electrical knowledge is limited, happy to follow instructions though with basic tools,

I notice when running the right resistor get warm, I have removed and clean the ring as read on other posts. I also cleaned the brushes and slip rings.

Idle board components, just in case I get that far,

Any pointers would be gratefully received on what to look for regarding low output, and I appreciate its Christmas eve now,
Chris
