Hi
I've an old router that's not getting used, works great but I've a newer one with a larger drive...
I'm build Ing a bench for it and mounting it in the bench along with a fitted fence just to make life easier and faster for routing grooves etc in timber.. The dumb question is its 240 volt and it's a safety switch mech where too start it you need the two switches depressed, should I rewire it bypassing the switches or just lock them in the on position via cable ties.. I'm fitting an on off switch with an emergency off switch to enable safe starting etc..
Your thoughts please...
