As folks who know me will know, I've been out for a couple of months so dread to think what my 15kg 0.8 spool will look like.
I've taken steps in the garage, including having a de-humidifier running (only above 5C) and insulating the garage roof, but I'm expecting the worst when I get home at the weekend.
Oh... I'm around Edinburgh so average temperature over the winter months will be -/+5C with humidity hitting 90%.
Should I just bin the spool that's in the machine? Liner? Will I save anything by cutting out the outer ~3 layers of wire?
Next winter, I'll strip it and bring the spool indoors
