I have a SIP autoplus 215 mig welder. The welder no longer responds when the torch button is depressed. I suspect that the problem is with the pcb control panel. The panel is no longer available from the manufacturer. The panel is supplied by an external 12-14v transformer which is working. The output from the control panel is around 3v when the torch button is depressed. This seems too low. If I put 12v across this output from another source the welder works. I have replaced the TIP35c power transistor on the control panel but this made no difference.
Please could someone suggest what else I could try to get the welder working. The welder is old but it did work well and it would be great not to junk it.
