I've never used a mig before, but can weld with a stick welder (well sort of).
I need to modify some tubular poles on a portable car port, the sort that galatent sell (http://www.galatent.co.uk/listing.asp?Category=GalaTentMarquees&SubCategory=GalaTentSpareParts)
Their website tells me "Tube wall thickness 1.2mm".
This will probably be the only job I'll ever need the welder for (so dont want to spend any more than neccessary), I'm thinking about one of the Clarke 90 no gas models, would these be OK, or do i need to look at something different ?.
