my mig has developed a mind of its own it feeds wire as soon as its turned on i have opened it up and had a poke around there are no wires touching that i can see any ideas?
Check out the switch and leads in the torch first, if its a euro connector just take the torch harness off and try it, if it still plays up, you know the problems inside the welder
is it the contact inside the torch, behind the trigger. take the torch to pieces(unplug the welder first though) should be a strip of brass (i think it is) when you push the trigger it contacts on another wire and completes the circuit
WD 40 is a wonderful thing!... It is a penetrating oil that displaces water in electronics and stops squeaks. Just in case WD 40 has not made it across the pond.
