Planning on starting my bench build in a few weeks and have proved up the materials.
It works out better value for me to buy a 1000mm X 2000mm 6mm sheet rather than a sheet cut to my final dimensions of 750mm X 1500mm.
Whilst o was planning on using a hack saw to cut the 40mm box section for the frame (until I can afford something powered) I can't think of a suitable way to to do the long cuts to size the 6mm sheet.
I have a Jigsaw, track saw, circ saw and angle grinder at my disposal and could afford to buy a specilzed blade if need be.
Can't afford a plasma cutter and bigger compressor at this stage so limited to using what I have.
Any advice would be appreciated.
