Dont fancy air or kinetic type.
Now is the time to do your wood for next year.
View attachment 112038 Im burning ask this year....6 cubes cut and split and about 50 big discs to split, then about 20feet of main branch to still cut up.
Sad the guy from the national park who came to survey our mushrooms reckoned it was about 300 years old
It is, and luckily for me, all mine is dunage, so just a case of cutting to length.
When I do get uncut timber it's cut to suit the nature of the tree, it ends up all sort of shapes and sizes, but at least I dont have problems with notts when splitting with a maul.
(I got 9 Sq/m stored so far)

Back on topic.
A lister cs6/1 with twin flywheels might be a good starting point, for a rack type.
Neat stack but not good for air flow.
well i've orderd some bits......
1 length of module 5 rack ( its ether 1mtr or 4ft cant rember ) 50mm wide face as thats what others seem to be useing and a 14T pinion £165 all in as a guestimate i recon there will be 5-700 quids worth of bits + what i have hanging about in it by the time ive finished
now to see what it looks like when it turns up i have a feling i'll be building it to take a bigger rack just incase it eats it
need some springs now
value my frosticles too much to use that.My favourite, aptly named the Widow Maker!
