Hello I wanted to buy a tig ac/dc machine but the euros is in short supply, so I made a rational decision buy a dc machine. I have 400 euros to buy the machine.
There are 4 candidates for the prize of being my tig welder.
The contenders are:
From the lcdvision conner: (2 years warranty with pulse)
TIG-160P Pro Pulse 289,50 euros
D-TIG-160P 349,99 euros
D-TIG-180P 389,50 euros
From stahlwerk conner (5 years warranty but no pulse)
DC TIG 200 S 299 euros
Background
I´m a diy hobbist , I have a 160 transformer stick welder and a lincoln 170 mig/mag machine. I think I will be doing almost only steel but if I had ac i could do aluminium also but in my use of the machine can't justify the extra cost of buying and running the machine(repair point of view).
This is my first tig machine i almost new to welding.
What is the big difference on the TIG-160P Pro Pulse andthe D-TIG-160P that justify the 60 euros difference.
160 amp to 180 amp justify the 40 euros?
