I can provide the material, I have a bar of stainless that I’ve put aside for it. Tolerance isn’t of great importance, it’s for my race car haha so +\- .02 mm
As long as it’s a nice M12 thread and they both match from the shoulder to the radius the geometry will be right.
30 years since I worked in a machine shop, but wasn’t there a basic rule that if the dimensions are to one decimal place, the tolerance is also thus? Or something like that?
I’m really not fussy about tolerance. I only said .02 because it’s what I work to as a standard. As stated I can track any discrepancies out in the geometry.
It’s looking as though I’m being moved to installations permanently so I’m just not going to get the opportunity to make these my self.
If anyone wants to have a go I can send the material over. If you can’t do it I will just have a shop make some for me. I’d rather give one of you a reason to play in the shed than pay out big money though.
