I Have a few projects / items I would like to make up. All in 2 or 3mm alumininium sheet (I could just use 2.5mm for all of them)
There are various holes/shapes and possibly even some text / logos in there.
I could do the drawings on paper (A4) myself. I can the work out the nesting for all the parts to fit on one sheet.
I can then either claim from a mate who owes me some work to stick my drawings on a usb stick as dxf (?) Or just hand the drawings over to the cutters.
I have enough bits to fill an 8'x4' sheet.
Has anybody got any idea of the sort of prices charged for low volume laser jobs?
What sort of price to digitize the drawings if I just take them in on paper?
Also, do the cutting places normally supply the materials or would I be expected to take in a sheet myself?
Thanks!
