First post on here and I'm afraid its a question!!
Has anyone any experience or views on Kuhtreiber TIG welders/inverters?
I havent welded since school and even then didnt do much so really am starting from scratch. My reason for learning to weld is to build a few bike frames for myself and I am leaning towards TIG as I eventually want to build in Titanium.
I've been looking around for a second hand welder and was offered a Kuhtreiber Kitin 165 through a friend for £250-300. I've looked online and all I can find is the manufacturer website (seems to be a Czech company) and a company in Ireland selling them.
Has anyone ever used one or have any views before I waste my money? Am I doing it wrong by trying to learn TIG first?
