Only if he can beat me in a fair fight. Thanks mate, could you take this off me as well?
It doesn't seem fair that you should have to put yourself out so much mate, I'll take the hit on this one to safe you the hassleSure, no probs - happy to help
Well clearly it's not going to be a fair fight... need a hand loading it Sir?
Is it a kerry?Anyone know what model drill this is? It seems very well put together. Weighs a ton! Bed is a bit battered but it was cheap enough so can't complain.
It's a mk2 student. It's complete but was a bit of a mess. So I'm tidying it up.Looks like an old Rockwell drill press from the late 1950's / early 60's. Nice Clausing 4900 series lathe also. Do you have the rest of it ?

Picked that up last week. Cost me £350. It's all there just needs a new motor.Think I need to go to Spec savers.
After looking these up it is definitely one of these. Would I be right in thinking it's more of a woodworking drill? It seems just as capable as the meddings I use at work. Really impressed as it only cost me 50 quid. Some more pics from the side may help but it looks like an old delta American made jobby, like this one ....
Nice drill

I'm not sure tbh - they certainly look solid enough to handle metal work - as long as the quill has no play I wouldnt worry. After looking these up it is definitely one of these.
