going to have a bash at stuffing an inline feeder on the lincolin tomorrow. more i've looked into it now the more lincolin makes sense , spend not much more on the welder and get one with CV output stuff a cheep feeder on it, spend a litte less on a cc only unit, spend a wedge on a voltage sensing wire feed, that will only spray so no positional work oh, quite a few places now have pritty much banned useing cc sources with flux core wire, and if its structural stuff thats got to be done to a wps theres another technicality that chould be an issue
The great thing about lincoln, they seem to use the same wire numbers for the same functions regardless of what machine. 2 & 4, contactor control. 31 & 32, 110vac for feeder. 74, 75, 76 for remote pot which is always 10k.
its been welding today. was working brilliantly till i attached the cover on the wire feed a bit better and drove a tek screw through the coil for the gas valve but other than tht its working well
