The 2 pins in the head of the torch that close to make a circuit when the ceramic is screwed on,can cause this issue.
Yes looked at those , all seems goodThe 2 pins in the head of the torch that close to make a circuit when the ceramic is screwed on,can cause this issue.
Worth a look , thanks . It does give air though when pressed still worth a lookWhen I took my original torch apart, the rubber cover was over quarter of a inch above the actual button. The mean't you had to be pushing the button so hard that any relaxation of the grip turned it off. If yours is the same maybe make a small spacer to fill the gap above the button.
I've checked it and everything looks good , once I start a cut it's ok until I actually stop . It's when I go to start cutting again that it won't startYeah mine was the same let air though no problem, would cut fine then just stop arcing then start again. You'd end up with a cut that was:
' _____ ___ _ _ _ __ _ __ __ _ _ __ __ _ '
CrazyDifferent then, when I was researching my problems I came across this vid on youtube, interesting comments about the switch. Plus it's quite funny
and a great example of darwins theory.
