Quite possibly a 2n3055 transistor that passes current from the reservoir caps to the output - the device that blows protecting the fuse, sadly...
A lot of CB supply makers just copied the example circuit on the transistor maker's data sheet Lazy Bees...
Carefully measure voltage on the pins and case (should be insulated from chassis) back to the negative on the rectifier, should have full voltage same as out of the bridge rectifier on one, much lower voltage on another, output on the third of em. Then check the number on it and report back?
