what do you mean by that ? id say its about 1.2 at its thinest but its a bit hard to tell ! i just really want to tack a patch over the 2 big holes to stop anything flying out its not structual :if the metal is quite thin chances are u will burn through. if u can backup the base with a heat sink eg scrap metal aluminium . copper even steel clamped to the rear . lay patch over the hole and weld. it wont burn through because of the mass of metal behind will keep it cool . then remove when completed
