well tackled the cracked torch base on the Lincoln welder I have for sale , did what was suggested epoxied the crack and put a angle bracket on and just to be on the safe side put some epoxy over the top for good measure, solid as a rock. here's where it all went t*ts up , made sure the liner was snot getting bended or out of line while epoxy was drying and looked great so fitted the bracket etc., when trying to feed new wire it was hard work ,took a little plastic holding cover off to investigate and Lincoln have a small separate little piece of liner separate before going into another hole in the torch ffs! ,now I am about a mm out of line ,with the little piece of liner out it feeds through the torch but with a slight drag. now I am going to have to pick everything off and redo. thought it was like mine and it was one solid liner , what a stupid idea
