Pistons are available but I'm more concerned at damaging the con rods or crankshaft as these are not easy to get!! The engine is 180 degrees but, as the crankshaft is free to 'fall out' of the crankcase, I'm able to push down on both of the pistons at once.
I'm making a pair of 'pushers' using some angle and a couple of bolts. The angle is drilled to go over the barrel studs and then, with a nut welded over the centre of the piston, the bolts can be tightened down slowly to force the piston(s) down the barrel - this has worked for some people on the Honda forum so I'm going to try it when I get back from hols....
I do like the idea of the very hot oil......... but it does sound a little dangerous in practice??
