It's very time that i think to built it.
But i'm in difficult to find a 12hp engine to drag a twin 140A alternator.
I have a 140A alternator , that i have modified to be controlled from an reostat.
Now i need the second one, and a little one for charge the battery and give the power to the alternators once is on.
I would put in the "weldernators" a thermal switch but i don't know wich temperature it's better for.
Than i don't know if it's better have allways the alternators connect together or only when we need more than 120A?
I have lot of questions about this project, but im little scared to be boring.
Than i don't know if it's better make a big frame likes medium mosa or genset, or if it's better have compact frame, or again make some thing like a Lincoln sa200 but more little than him.
The reostat if the resistence is big we have less or more power output?
