HI just after some advice i am fairly compatent with an ark welder but have just bought a bus to convert into a camper so need to move to mig or tig i last used a mig a few years ago restoring a vw beatle and i have to say the results were not great it put me off a bit to be honest. anyway on to my question.
there are a couple of welders on the screwfix site that seem to be within my budget one is a gas or gasless mig reduced from £169 to £117 it seems ok to start with what do you guys think?
here is the link http://www.screwfix.com/prods/30030/Power-Tools/Welding/Fan-Cooled-MIG-Welder-150A[/URL]
also on screwfix is a DC Inverter 75 & Kit http://www.screwfix.com/prods/24098/Power-Tools/Welding/DC-Inverter-75-Kit# i am not sure what this is, is it just a small ark welder? is it sutable for my panel welding job? As to be honest i am a touch reluctant to get another mig my last one tended to make all my work look like prickly volcanos, bits of wire all over the place jamming all time!
My buget is also limited so any advice would be most appreciated,
thanks keith
