Hi All, I'm new to this forum.
I have bought a secondhand Clarke 160EN which has been converted to use Gas (originally marketed as a gasless that can use gas aswell).
I did a welding course at college years ago - but never did anything with it.
The plan is to see if I can learn to weld to a reasonable standard - then repair my TVR chassis that I am currently refurbing.

I've just rear the forum post on the clarke welder section about the power settings being incorrect in the manual - though in my case having no manual is probably a bonus!
The Clarke manual downloadable from this site must also be wrong I think - I've posted why I think that on the Clarke forum - basically there is no Min 3 setting listed in the manual, it goes from Min2 to Max3 - full info on the Clarke forum.
