Got a £40 Amazon Chinese auto lid 2 years ago (almost to the day!) and now having tested it against my daughters one it seems to be max shade all the time meaning I can't see anything at low amps and I am about to mig a bunch of 1-1.5mm exhaust tube. So time to replace.
Like to step up a little rather than just get another cheapie so looking around the £60-£80 mark (inc VAT) - Sure it's been a year since last thread on lids in this price range
Just a hobby MIG and Stick welder. Like the idea of a bigger viewing area. Don't wear glasses.
So far
GWS ES 5-13 https://www.weldingdirect.co.uk/es-5-13-auto-darkening-welding-mask-10333-p.asp
- I know nothing about this but big fan of the company and their welder I have, spec looks good.

ESAB Warrior http://www.weldequip.com/esab-warriortech.htm attracted by the colour and the known brand!
The Phantom XL and GYS spaceview are out of budget
Opinions on these or others within the budget please. I will review whatever I buy. Thanks!
