My passenger side header is VERY close to the starter motor, and as such already the sheathing on the wiring is beginning to deteriorate.
The gap is so close that even a heat resistant jacket will make contact.
I'm considering welding a metal shield to inside of the header to help reduce direct temperatures to the starter motor.
The header is steel, and idea what metal may be advisable to use?
Thanks
