i got a set a few years back but needed to add a 16 and 18mm to the set
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they sell the flex ones separately to the set anymore though I haven't checked in the shop and their online search is pathetic.
I don't know why they miss 9, 16 and 18mm out especially as their manufacturer does the 12pc set like their fixed head ones.

They do an AF set too, no chance of getting that in HalfordsUnfortunately it doesn't seem like they sell the flex ones separately to the set anymore though I haven't checked in the shop and their online search is pathetic.

You could get them from RS.Shame, my Galaxy makes good use of 16mm and 18mm nuts and bolts
I tried to get a Whitworth socket in Halfords, they didn't know what I was talking about. Never heard of it.They do an AF set too, no chance of getting that in Halfords
fftopic: but I had a 100 piece pro Halfords set and one of the ratchets wouldn't work in one direction.
Went to the local dealer, started to explain what was up, and the guy ran off (literally), opened up a display case and came back with a matching ratchet.
Didn't ask for a proof of receipt, just literally took my knackered sprocket and handed me a working one and I was done.
I can't comment on Halfords for servicing or whatnot but I'm a big fan of their lifetime warranty (disclaimer; when bought at sale prices)
I was wondering who made them for them.
I've seen gearwrench stuff about and have wondered what it was like.
Did the same for me with a ratchet..fftopic: but I had a 100 piece pro Halfords set and one of the ratchets wouldn't work in one direction.

They are excellent - I've had mine about 10 years, the 17 and 19 mm have had some right abuse but still work fine.Picked mine up this afternoon, £37.50
