Ughhh...
So i have grease now, and am now battling grease nipples. I cant seem to connect to any of them!
In frustration, i tried an attachment with a rubber cone on the end, thinking that, if i pressed it hard enough against the nipple, id get a seal - all that happened is grease came out from around the back edges of the cone!
Admittedly, my attachments are a cheap-from-china set, but i really dont think it should be this hard.
Apparently the nipple that's causing me the primary annoyance is a "PB107" which looks like this -
The central ridge is not a gripping point - its flush with the housing. It may, or may not be a THK proprietory part.
Its probably 3.5mm in dia, and has about the same amount of clearance around it. Ill need to use a fair bit of pressure to work against the bearing, i think.
Any ideas? At present, ive just done what ive been doing, and slapped a load of grease over the screw, but its not ideal.
