Evening all,
my first post on here so hoping for some helpful responses - it was mine and the missus' 3 year anniversary 2 weeks ago and she secretly bought me a welder as I've been wanting one for years
She got a second hand Giant Mig 250 off of the bay, a friend went and picked it up and tested it and I've been using it quite a lot over the past week n half, but something that's bugging me is that I can't seem to find a continuous weld setting?
Theres a gap nob that you can twist from 0 to 10 that adjusts the gap time from a flick of the trigger(latch), but eventually it will click and then feels like continuous in that you control when its on/off by holding the trigger... but after 5 seconds this cuts out even if you are still holding the trigger so im a bit stuck as to how to sort this - I know the nob is a bit broken in that it doesn't switch from continuous to latch in the same position but just wondering if im missing something?
Please help
Thanks,
Charlie
