Hey guys
been looking around and talking to people about gasless mig's for auto panel repair use, and im confused..
i have experience using gas mig's but never a gasless
some people say its not possible, some say it is..
im looking at purchasing either;
a cigweld portaweld100 (30-100amp) gasless
or a cigweld transmig 135 (30-135amp) gas/gasless
obviously the latter is a better unit, and allows gas, but price goes up
id like to have the option of gas but i dont want to have to purchase bottles in the future etc.. but for now its really blowing the budget..
so basically my question is can i weld auto panel's with either of these migs using 0.8 flux cored wire @ 30amps?
has anyone done this? and can provide pics or point me in the direction of some
thanks
