Gas or gasless MIG running costs?
I know these questions have been asked loads of times
I currently have a cheapo 140amp arc welder which is good for angle iron etc but I need to weld some bodywork
I'm looking at the Clarke 90EN which can do 24-90 amps. It is a gasless MIG welder which can be converted to gas (I assume by buying hose and a regulator?)
The welder would solely be used outside, I have no workshop space safe for welding in.
From reading on here the gasless would be better for outdoor use and saves me having to source gas.
But I've just seen the price of the big rolls of flux coated wire
What's people's opinions on gas vs gasless espicially when it comes to price - setup and running costs?
