I fired up my new gys 35 k for the first time this week for a trial run , I cut a few scraps 3mm plate and a 50 x 8 mm bar with ease and then it developed a horrible noise from the inbuilt commpressor, I switched it off rapidly to avoid damage and contacted welding supplies direct where I bought it from. Tom at w.s.d. said he would inform g y s and they would contact me directly.
Later in the day a member of the g y s after sales team called me and could not of been more helpful, as I'm not too far from their Rugby service centre I arranged to drop it in on Thursday lunch time.
When I got to gys they confirmed there was a fault in the commpressor and said they would either repair or replace the commpressor and guaranteed it would be delivered back to me the following day.
About 3 hrs later gys phoned me told me they had done the repair and sent it out , I received it back Friday lunch time. I could not be more impressed with the service.
