Hello all,
Thought I should start out here by saying 'hello' and giving the obligatory intro...
I have seen threads on here for some time now, mostly linked from LR4x4.com - where I moderate the Tools and Fabrication Forum - and you seem like a helpful bunch I finally got as far as registering as I need a little help with my latest acquisition...
Usually I can be found sticking my Land Rover Discovery back together, or bits of my brother's Range Rover, or Ninety. I have also been known to stick bits of bus back together for my dads preserved fleet.
Some documented projects include:
Discovery Inner Wings
Range Rover Sills and
Range Rover Body cross member and Floor replacement/repairs
I am truly an amateur at this game, but I like to think myself as at least vaguely competent...
I really need to get into TIG welding as well, but first I need to find a TIG plant that can do what I want (mild steel, stainless, and ally) for the sort of money I want to spend... I will see what turns up.
Enough about me, I have to go and read the results of some of my searches...
Cheers
Mark
