Thanks all. I took the old one off and its 12x9mm, so not quite an A profile, but close.
If it fits snugly within the V, A is the best to go with for that. If it's sitting slightly proud of the V, go with a Z.
That even almost looks like gibberish to me, reading it.
You're not supposed to have any 'wiggle' on the belt when it's tightened. Maybe your sliders could do with cleaning? I had the original belt in mine, half of it was scattered all over the place. A36 is the size, my advice is get a new belt, they don't break the bank.
I leave just sufficient whip to change the speed over the pulleys without having to re tension every time it never slips and been doing it for yearsWell obviously you need slack to get it on...

I originally tried an A37 as whilst it was significantly shorter than the one i had, it was still too long. So i changed it for an A36 and its spot on.. A37 is still ok, but A36 is a better fit..
