The fatter tubes should still fit unless the manufacturer has pulled a fast one and is not designing to the standard.Tool station do seem to be around the cheapest if you take shipping into account.
I have just been down to buy a 4 foot holder. Sadly I have about 30 spare tubes and they are the thicker tubes that don't fit the new fittings. more searching . Lol
Check first, but most case a simple bit of re-wiring inside the fitting to bypass the starter and ballast removes them from the circuit and saves another little bit of electricity/pounds
Also be aware that fluorescents are not recommended for rotating equipment such as lathes unless they have twin tubes.
They don't mate not on mine. The fatter tubes should still fit unless the manufacturer has pulled a fast one and is not designing to the standard.
What's one of them??Unless you use HF (high frequency) ballast fittings where a single tube would be fine.
